§1. General provisions

1. These rules outline the safety guidelines that apply to participants of the bouldering trip organized by LUŹNO.

2. Participation in the trip is equivalent to accepting these safety rules.

3. The organizer is not responsible for accidents resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines.

§2. Climbing safety guidelines

1. Every participant is required to warm up before climbing.

2. Appropriate climbing shoes and crash pads must be used to reduce the impact of falls.

3. The landing area must be checked and properly prepared before attempting any climb.

4. Participants are required to practice spotting – i.e., directing the climber's fall path and correcting body position if needed to ensure a safer landing. Spotting does not guarantee complete protection from injury and does not replace knowledge of proper fall technique and crash pad use.

5. Climbing under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is strictly prohibited.

6. In case of poor weather conditions (rain, slippery or wet rock), the organizer may decide to cancel climbing activities.

§3. General rules

1. Each participant must inform the organizer about any injuries or health conditions before the trip begins.

2. All participants must follow instructions from the trip organizers and instructors.

3. During climbing and outdoor activities, caution must be exercised and others’ safety respected.

4. In case of injury or accident, the organizer must be informed immediately, and first aid procedures followed.

5. The organizer is not responsible for participants' personal belongings.

§4. First aid

1. A first aid kit is available in the organizers' vehicle.

2. In case of an accident, notify the organizer immediately and call for medical assistance if necessary.

3. Each participant is covered by an accident insurance policy (NNW) that includes climbing activities, provided by the organizer. The insurance only covers events specified in the policy (sent after submitting the “Participation Form” and no later than 7 days before the trip).

4. The organizer is not responsible for incidents resulting from disregard for the safety rules, trip regulations, or instructors’ guidance.

5. The participant acknowledges that climbing, including bouldering, is a high-risk activity and takes part at their own risk. The organizer and instructors make every effort to ensure safety but cannot fully eliminate the risks involved in this activity.

6. The participant agrees to follow all safety rules, including proper use of crash pads and correct spotting. The organizer is not responsible for injuries caused by inadequate fall protection by another participant.

§5. Organizer’s responsibility

1. The organizer provides accommodation and supervises the safety of participants during the trip. The organizer does not provide transportation but may assist in coordinating travel arrangements between participants.

2. The organizer is not liable for injuries resulting from non-compliance with the rules or participants’ own decisions.

3. In the event of a gross violation of safety rules, the organizer has the right to exclude the participant from further participation in the trip.

§6. Participant’s declaration

Payment of the deposit for the trip is equivalent to accepting these terms and conditions and declaring that:

1. I have read and agree to abide by the rules and regulations.

2. I am participating in the trip at my own risk and I am aware of the risks associated with climbing.

3. The organizer provides accident insurance (NNW), but is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow the rules or improper use of climbing equipment.

4. I will not make any claims against the organizer in the event of injury resulting from my actions or failure to comply with safety regulations.
